Six-insect collection frame - six real specimens in one black frame.

Frame size: 6" x 8".

The frame is double-pane glass with no backing board - the specimens sit between two panes of glass, so whatever is behind the frame shows through. The white background in the photos is our photo backdrop, not part of the frame.

Six species in one frame: a Giant Grasshopper (Tropidacris cristata), one of the largest grasshoppers in the world, shown with its spotted orange hindwings spread; a Giant Jewel Beetle (Euchroma gigantea) with metallic green and copper wing covers; a stag beetle (Sphaenognathus giganteus); a rhinoceros beetle (Golofa eacus); and two shining leaf chafer beetles (Macraspis andicola and Macraspis festiva).

Ethically scavenged: all of our butterflies and insects come from an insect sanctuary in Peru. Once they pass away naturally, they are gathered and framed - no creatures are harmed for these pieces.

Please note: each specimen is a natural, one-of-a-kind piece. The photos show a representative example of this frame, and the specimens you receive may vary slightly in size, coloring, or pattern from the ones pictured.
